When Leo received the card that Stargirl sent him, he got curious and followed her

It takes place a year after she's moved away from Arizona [and Leo].

In the book Stargirl, Leo Borlock is in 11th grade. Stargirl Caraway is in 10th.

the setting of Stargirl is in Mica (Mica Area High School), a made-up town in Arizona. Great part of the story happens there.

The high point in Stargirl is that she is trying to be a loving and caring person! That is just the way she is and that is how she is going to be!

STARGIRL IS

CONFIDENT ,MYSTERIOUS, AND UNPREDICTABLE.

ONE EVENT SHOWING HER COURAGE WAS WHEN SHE STARTED SINGING AND PLAYING HER UKELELE DURING LUNCH IN THE CAFETERIA IN FRONT OF EVERYONE. THIS SHOWED HOW SHE WASN'T SHY AND THAT SHE DIDNT CARE OF WHAT OTHER PEOPLE THOUGHT OF HER.

THE NEXT EVENT WHICH SHOWED HER MYSTERIOUSNESS WAS WHEN LEO FOLLOWED STARGIRL AFTER SCHOOL AND SHE PUT A CARD IN A MAILBOX SAYING CONGRATULATIONS BUT SHE KEPT WALKING. THIS SHOW HOW SHE DOES RANDOM THINGS IN HER FREE TIME THAT LEO DOESNT UNDERSTAND.

THE LAST EVENT EVENT DESCRIBING HOW SHE WAS UNPREDICTABLE WAS HOW EVERYDAY SHE WORE SOMETHING DIFFERENT AND ABSRACT. THIS SHOWED THAT SHE DIDNT CARE IF SHE DIDNT FIT IN .

LEO IS

ONE EVENT SHOWING HIS CURIOSITY WAS WHEN HE ASKED STARGIRL IF SHE CARED ABOUT HOW PEOPLE THOUGHT SHE WAS DIFFERENT. THIS SHOWED HOW HE WAS CURIOUS ABOUT HOW STARGIRL THOUGHT.

THE NEXT EVENT WHICH SHOWED HIS SELF CONSIOUSNESS WAS HOW HE NEVER SAT WITH STARGIRL AT LUNCH BECAUSE HE THOUGH EVERYONE WOULD SHUN HIM. THIS SHOWED THAT HE DIDNT WANT ANYONE TO SHUN HIM LIKE STARGIRL.

THE LAST EVENT WHICH SHOWS HIS SELFISHNESS WAS WHEN HE TOLD STARGIRL THAT NOBODY LIKED HER AND TWO DAYS LATER SHE CHANGED HER NAME TO SUSAN. THIS SHOWED THAT HE WANTED HER TO CHANGE EVEN IF THAT MEANT NOT BEING HERSELF.

the jury rejected stargirl by going crazy with questions that insulted what she was doing by yelling and screaming at her. questions like "y do u cheer for the other team" "y r u such a freak" and other rejecting questions

Well, there is a boy who lives in either Arizona and he goes to school one day and there's this new girl there and she tells everyone her name is Stargirl. She is a bold tenth grader and greets everyone she meets. She isn't afraid to stand out and always sings happy birthday to people on their birthdays with her ukelele. Leo and Kevin have a show at school called hot seat and they want to get star girl on the show. Everyone love star girl except for Hillary Kimble and her boyfriend. At one point in the story, Leo falls in love with star girl.

the solution is that stargirl becomes more popular and leo didnt want to be with her anymore and stargirl moves away!!:)
