According to Suite101.com, Nickelodeon gained the rights in 2008 to make a Stargirl movie. It was supposed to be released the same year, but dropped the project.

The Montecito Picture Company is producing the film now and was expected to release it in 2009; however, as of May 2011 no filming has been done.

the jury rejected stargirl by going crazy with questions that insulted what she was doing by yelling and screaming at her. questions like "y do u cheer for the other team" "y r u such a freak" and other rejecting questions

Well, there is a boy who lives in either Arizona and he goes to school one day and there's this new girl there and she tells everyone her name is Stargirl. She is a bold tenth grader and greets everyone she meets. She isn't afraid to stand out and always sings happy birthday to people on their birthdays with her ukelele. Leo and Kevin have a show at school called hot seat and they want to get star girl on the show. Everyone love star girl except for Hillary Kimble and her boyfriend. At one point in the story, Leo falls in love with star girl.

the solution is that stargirl becomes more popular and leo didnt want to be with her anymore and stargirl moves away!!:)

Do you mean "What is Stargirl's point of view?" If so, read the sequel "Love Stargirl" It is about where Stargirl went after the Ocotillo Ball and is written in letter form. Most people agree that "Love, Stargirl" is not as good as Stargirl.

*This is a list I created while reading Stargirl. I will be student teaching soon and am creating a unit around this book and love the figurative language in it. There are a lot of similes, metaphors, hyperboles, and personification. It's not complete, but it's a good start!
