You get to the top of the crown, by entering the pedestal the statue stands on, then at the top of the pedestal you enter the 151 helical stairs that go up 15 stories. There are rest stops every 5 turns. At her crown, there are 25 windows you can look out of, then you begin your decent down the 151 stairs to the base of her building. Also, there is a great museum at the base of the statue that shows the history of the statue.

there is not just one Paris airport, but two. Because neither of them are actually in the city of Paris (but outside Paris) you cant see the Eiffel Tower from them. From Charles De Gaul it takes maybe 15 or 20 mins. before you get to the city of Paris before you can see it.
