You pretty much hacpve to fill the vases with fire from the fire Mario. First, you get the Mario. You go down to the gate and shake your wii remote to spew fire, thus opening the gate. Wait until the fire Mario wears out, get it again then rush through the gate to go to the two towers which look somewhat like this: |-| |-|with vases in front. You have to spew fire like before into both, if you succeed, a bridge opens. You climb through, until you reach the part where you have to get the star. Then, get fire Mario and run to where the platforms come out. Ride one, spew fire into the vases in front of the star. A bridge appears, you win the level.

I don't think so because when I play on it I only get to be one player or two player. The first player is Mario and the second player is a Lamar so really I don't think you can be a third player but you can be second player or first player but no third player. To have a second player you need to play with a friend or your parents.

There are 120 Normal Stars/ Gold Stars, and there are another 120 Green Stars/ Finding Stars. That totals up to 240. Then, once you obtain all those, a special galaxy, called The Grand Master Galaxy appears. There are 2 stars in this galaxy (Especially hard to get). That makes 242 stars.

So in total, there are 242 stars in Super Mario Galaxy.

(Spoiler Alert) I haven't beat the entire game. I've finished final bowser, and I didn't see any flying mario. So it might appear in:World S.

You press the A button to jump and while you're in the air you push down with the control stick.

She will start the battle by throwing spells at you which you must dodge. She will then throw a green koopa shell at you. You must spin attack to throw the shell back at her, knocking her off balance. Hit her 3 times to get the star.

go to the secret star. go to the other edge of the starting place( where you land) (oh get a shell to!) find the treasure trunk and then get on the star. when you land make those half looking ducks follow you ( no worries if it hits you it won't take any health bars) until you get to to the big coin. make it ( the half looking duck thing) follow you again or leave it alone. now go to the ice flower. now go to your left and make it snappy or else you won't get to the next planet.( don't worry if you didn't make it the first time! accidents happen!) (once you make it to the star and you are normal don't worry there is an other ice flower.) now here comes the hard part! get to the ice flower, go to the half looking duck, now make sure that the big ice burgs doesn't hit the the ice path ( it can, but i mean if the half duck is WAY behind the that's a problem ) if it doesn't then go to the middle of the lake and wait for the half duck to charge to you and walla! ( or is it vuala ? whatever) you have your secret star (oh yeah) on your way you may also collect star bits on your way too. they are good and healthy!! oh and brush your teeth every day. wait don't put your courser to the x mark. no,no,no,no,no,NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!bye!( yeah i know i said a lot of now go)

You hold the jump button and Mario will fly up, it is also known as moonjump

You spin attack on its tail. It will start a boss fight, so be ready. Just keep attacking the tail.

First, you must defeat Bowser to unlock the Special World.

Second: You must collect all yellow Stars.

Third: You must collect all green Stars.

Fourth: You must defeat all Comet Missions.

After all of these requirements are met, the Grandmaster Galaxy will open.

Last time I checked Waluigi isn't a playable character.

You mean a green ghost? Well, after you beat a level with Luigi, a green ghost will appear in that level. if you go to that level you'll find a little ghost of Luigi. Press A or spin near it and it will start running to the end of the course. You can race it if you want, but don't need to.

The question mark means that, somewhere on the course for the indicated star, there's a secret star that you haven't found yet.

Yes, a second player can assist you but the opportunities are very little.

Flying Mario by taking a red star

Bee Mario by taking a Bee Mushroom

Spring Mario by taking a spring Mushroom

Fire Mario by taking a Fire Flower

Ice Mario by taking a Ice Flower

They are a bee mushroom, a fire flower, a drill, a rock mushroom, a cloud mushroom, a ghost mushroom, and a spring mushroom.
