How do you adjust level float in swimming pool?

The pool water level will correspond roughly to the centerline of the float. So raising the float height raises the water level and vice versa. The float and its short rod connect to the float valve with a small 'wing' nut or screw. Using a small pair of pliers, carefully loosen this screw a bit until the float/rod pivots freely up and down on the valve assembly. Reposition it where you would like it, and retighten the screw. (No need to overtighten--just snug so the float is fixed to the valve portion.) It may take a couple of days for the level to adjust; then go back and readjust the float if needed. I would not 'bend the rod', as some have suggested, as the rod on this type of float is usually very short and doing so will likely break off the float or damage the valve.

Can drinking to much pool water change you stool colour?

yes , drinking a lot of pool water may change the colour of your stool.

this is due to the amount of chlorine present in the water to kill germs .

it is good in a way and also harmful in a way .therefore pool water not

very safe if drunk in a large quantity.

That answer couldn't be further from the truth. The amount of chlorinated water you would have to drink would be substantial! Chlorine would act like a bleach... If you had enough in your system to change the color of your stool, then you would demonstrate other symptoms that would suggest poisoning. The parts per million concentration of chlorine at it's highest acceptable levels in public pools, would create a scenario where you would have to drink your body weight in pool water before it would begin to become harmful. The above answer is how ignorant urban legends begin.

Can you use hedges or water moat as fence barrier around pool?

I have seen hedges around inground swimmingpools. The hedges would have to be the same height as a fence should be, which is 48inches. The problem would be with access. A fence has to have a self closing latchable gate...what does the Hedge row have? Not sure about the water...If someone had to enter the water to gain access to the property then it should be acceptable barrier, but that will depend on standards of insurance companty and BOCA

Is a pool gate or pool alarm safer?

well id do both just to safer !

but if i had to pick just one id pick the alarm :)

A gate will keep people out where as an alarm alerts you to when someone is already in. It depends on how old the people are you are wanting to keep out. Also check with your insurance company, a gate might be less to insure. If you have little ones an alarm might save a life if the gate fails.
