To unlock Heihachi Mishima in tekken 4 play with a character and when you unlock new characters play with them, keep doing this till you get all the characters and heihachi will be there. But in tekken 5 you just have to keep on playing story battle until you get all the characters.

Also you cant get the boss character in tekken 5, Jinpachi Mishima you can only get him when you play tekken 5 in PS3.

Make sure you have your character and alisa with very good items. Put on things like 75-100% drop rate so you can get more items or 200 and up health increases. I used Kazuya and found it easy enough. the key is to keep up with each wave that comes and dont get overwhelmed. Also make sure that you and alisa are fighting the same group if you are separated she will die quickly. you can save the machine gun for devil jin if you want, my advice is to do what I did and kick him off the side of the train and end the level and use the machine gun if alisa dies to heal her or if you get overwhelmed. hope this helps
