N Blox is very similar to classic game of tetris. The goal in N Blox, however, is to complete a certain number of lines as fast as possible, so the ability to hold off a piece's placement will not make achieving that goal any faster.

For single player tetris the best tactic is to build up as many lines a possible with just a one block gap. Then once the long single block appears you can drop it into the space and achieve the highest scores.

You simply clear a line yourself, and that will send a line to your opponent.

A "KO" in Tetris is what happens when you get your opponent to lose the game (when he/she/CPU's pieces reach the top).

The vertical Tetrimino in Tetris is really useful if you use it right. If there is a vertical gap that needs that piece, you should place there; you can get a "Tetris" if you clear multiple rows in one move.
