a quarter quell tribute from four hes with an old woman who volunteered for Annie ,whom finnick likes

Because the tribute starts a fire in the middle of the night. The flames could attract the Careers or any other blood thirsty tribute

In district 12, Katniss volunteered for Prim. Peeta Malark was the boy tribute of District 12. The tributes went to the Justice building, to say good bye to family and friends. In the book, Madge, Prim, Katniss`s mother, Gale and Peeta`s father visited Katniss. For Peeta, in the book, it says that his mother spoke to him and others who did went to the Justice Building to see Peeta was unknown. After so, Peeta and Katniss left District 12 to the Capitol with Effie Trinket and Haymitch.

she was finnick odair's girlfriend who was also a tribute who also won from district 4, and she went mad, and marries Finnick in the 3rd book

Among their similarities, they are both extremely jaded with respect to the spirit of the Games, and to the system that endorses it. They have both won the Games primarily by cleverness and luck, rather than combat ability.

Where the differ is that Haymitch is pragmatic to a fault, whereas Katniss maintains an idealistic approach to her challenges. Haymitch has been "broken" by his association with the Games, and thus willingly participates in the Capitol's schemes as a practical matter, while Katniss tries to maintain her rebellious attitude.

Yet, at the end of the third book, Katniss begins to approach the practical apathy of Haymitch.

yes peeta does get a new leg. his old one was too infected so they had to cut it off.katniss does not find this out untill they are on tv at the interview after the games.

District 12 is fenced in 1, because it is to keep out dangerous predators, such as wolves and bears. 2 because supposedly it's supposed to be electrified to keep the people in district 12 from leaving. But it's not, so it just keeps predators out.

So that she and Peeta can get sponsors who may end up saving her life in the games.

His legs are blown off by a land mine that he accidentally triggered. He loses so much blood that he dies.

her and gale were walking bye when she seen the poor little injured goat laying in the grass. she asked the goat mas how much it was, but he said its not for sale, that the butcher was on her way to pick it up. when the butcher got there the man told the butcher that katniss Had tried d to buy the goat before she had got their. the butcher seen how bad of a condition the goat was in ans told the man she could have it, that it wasn't worth cutting up.

Cato, Rue, and Foxface are a few static characters in the novel.

Thresh was 18 when he went into the 74th Hunger Games

Effie is the representative from the capitol for the district 12 tributes. At first Katniss' despises Effie and Believes she is annoying and fake, but later on warms up to her ever so slightly

The Twilight soundtrack (2008) was composed by Carter Burwell with supervision from Alexander Patasavas. While it did not win any awards, it was nominated for best singe and best soundtrack at the Grammy Awards.

Katniss loved hunting and Peeta loved to bake. Katniss took care of Prim.

At the end of the first book, the ending is great but it leads into the second book of the trilogy, and then the second leads into the third. The part before the very ending of the third book is really good but the ending its self is pretty good but comes really fast.
