President Snow is seen as an oppressive figure heading the regime of the Hunger Games. The Hunger Games is an event in which children are forced to murder each other, so a president encouraging such horrid violence would, of course, be portrayed in a negative light.

The most important items of Catching Fire have to be the Spile and the Pearl .

The pearl because thats what Peeta gave to katniss in the Catching Fire arena .

In the Hunger Games, Katniss comes across the two tributes from District 11. Their names are Rue and Thresh. These are the only people we meet from District 11.

The electric field that would throw them back on the roof is what prevents tributes from jumping. This is probably placed so that none of the tributes can commit suicide or escape before, or during, the games. The Capitol doesn't want tributes to die before the games so they can watch them die for entertainment, or need to get another tribute last minute.

One that's really obvious, is when almost everyone calls Katniss "the girl on fire" you could take that literally, but its meant as an idiom meaning that Katniss is full of rage and is crazy. Thats the only one i can remember from the top of my head from Hunger Games

Peeta did not intentionally turn on Katniss in "Mockingjay," book three of the Hunger Games. He was taken in by the Capitol near the end of "Catching Fire" [second book] and, as later revealed in Mockingjay, hijacked by President Snow. Snow took memories Peeta had of Katniss and infused them with tracker jacker poison, to distort the images to make them look like Katniss was trying to hurt Peeta. After so much of this hijacking, Peeta's mind began to slowly break down as the girl he once knew turned into a monster trying to kill him. When Katniss and Peeta next meet, he believes that she is a muttation, out to get him. President Snow did all of this to him; Peeta didn't purposely turn on Katniss.

Ever since Peeta first saw Katniss he was in love with her. Katniss's' first memory of him was when she was starving and she tried looking for food in Peeta's family's bins. His mother chased her away put Peeta purposely burnt a loaf of bread so Katniss could have it. Peeta tells Katniss in the 74th Hunger Games that he remembers that in assembly Katniss was the first to volunteer to sing a song. He declares it in the interview to help Katniss in the arena an made her look more vulnerable. Katniss takes this offensively and accidently injures Peeta. Haymitch then convinces Katniss that this was a good thing.

Cinna is killed in Catcting Fire but his death is confirmed in Mockingjay. As Katniss is about to enter the arena once again for the third annual quarter quell, a few peacekeepers come in and beat Cinna to death. Katniss can't do anything but scream because she is in the glass cylinder. Cinna was my favorite character after Rue got killed so of course I was sad.

Peeta's dad, The baker. But Katniss threw the cookies out the window on the plane ride in frustration.

Because the gamemakers weren't paying attention to Katniss. then the pig came in. She gets mad then shots the bow and arrow into the pigs mouth. she says thank you then walks out the room with out being dismissed.

She realizes that she loves him .

You will notice that when she sees him she always remembers him trowing bread away while others or her is starving which is why trough the beginning of the movie she is reluctant to talk to him. The only reason she is affectionate and caring is because almost at the end the only way they can win if both survive.

Pretty much they are pretending to help them get sponsors and in return get stuff that will help them survive.

if you look at the cover of each book, you will notice that the pin gradually turns into a mockingjay. this symbolizes that katniss went from wearing the mocking jay pin to actually being the mockingjay. so in answer to your question, the symbol represents the pin in transformation to the bird. (why is this explanation so long?)

The Hunger Games could be foreshadowing many things maybe one day we might not have the rights and the freedom we do today. It might be forshadowing world war 3 ... someone coming into power for all the wrong reasons... and people growing hatred of that person causing a war. It all depends on what angle you look at the series in.

The exact page will be different from copy to copy. It depends on which edition you are reading. However, Finnick's death can be found in chapter 22. It is in the tunnels, during a rebel raid on The Capitol.

Getting a goat would be a happy memory for many people.

But yeah in a way she is, shes upset to.

shes not angry directly at gale but whenever she thinks of the bomb that killed her sister she thinks of Gale because it was his idea.

Of course he didn't know what the bomb would be used for, but whenever she thinks of it all of the feelings of grief and hurt and loss will be tied to him now.

so in a way she is angry at him but more upset.

Katniss seems to spend most of her time in the woods hunting, which she enjoys. However, it is also necessary for her to do, as she needs to feed her family.

Before her first Games, Katniss received a pin that had a mutt on it, a mockingjay. When she unknowingly started the rebellion by out-smarting the Capitol, the mockingjay turned into her persona. When she went into the *Spoilers* Quarter Quell Games in Catching Fire, she was rescued by the Rebellion, and they called her the Mockingjay and she was the face of the rebellion of the Districts against the Capitol and President Snow, in the book Mockingjay. :)
