Katniss knows very little about foxface, only that she is sly, sneaky, cunning and very smart. Katniss admires foxface a little for her strategies in the games, and how she survives until the nightlock.

Although Katniss loves her mother, she feels deeply betrayed by her and cannot trust her because she abandoned them after her father died and left eleven year old Katniss to fend for herself and feed her little sister Prim, who was seven.

The reaping is an event that happens in the town square of each district, in which 2 tributes are chosen from the ages of 12-18 ~ one male, one female ~ to go and fight to the death in an outdoor arena. One thing about this that really angers Katniss is that the whole event is televised, so every person in every district can watch it. In the 74th Hunger Games, Katniss's little sister, Prim, is chosen as female tribute, but Katniss volunteers for her. The male tribute reaped is Peeta Mellark, the baker's son.

Katniss is an independent survivalist, lethal, but good at thinking outside of the box. She is sometimes self-centered, but selfless to those she loves and a protective, maternal figure to some. Brave, strong-willed and stubborn

And sad. :( But there are new books about the hunger games and a special edition of Mockingjay that are coming out, and I've heard their might be a fourth book.... but since the hunger games is a triology... if there was to be another, there is a possibility it may have different characters or something? There's also going to be a movie, coming out in March 23rd, 2012.

Foxface

Cato is a Hunger Games tribute from District 1. He is known as a "career" tribute because he was most likely trained for the games his entire life. Therefore, he is very strong and deadly, and a favorite to win the games. Cato is the last tribute killed in the 74th Hunger Games. He is mulled by the mutts, and then Katniss shoots him with an arrow and finally kills him in order to put him out of his misery.

A hungry, helpless society. Pretty much at the bottom of the ladder.

To calm Katniss down, he's trying to show that killing someone in the games is just like killing an animal for hunting.

Peeta wore a "flaming" costume for the opening ceremony, a simple suit for the interview with Caesar, and the same thing Katniss wore for the actual games.

Peeta Mellark has 16 and has blonde hair and blue eyes. He is very strong. Peeta is the baker's son. He is very nice and kind. Peeta also has been in love with Katniss since he was 5.

In the first book Distrrct 13 is destroyed. It was bombed into "extinction"

District 3 is responisble for the inner-mechanisms of technology, which is electronics.

District 4 is responsible for fishing. (catching fish, seafood, ect.)

District 5 is responsible for power. (power lines, electricity, ect.)

District 6 is responsible for transportation. (trains, cars, ect.)

District 7 is responsible for lumber and paper. (origamis, trees, copy paper, ect.)

District 8 is responsible for textiles. (flooring textiles, wall textiles, ect.)

District 9 is responsible for grain. (wheat, wheat cereal, ect.)

District 10 is responsible for livestock. (cattle, herds, ect.)

District 11 is responsible for agriculture.

District 12 is responsible for coal mining.

District 13 is responsible for nuclear weapons. (bombs, explosives, grenades, ect.)
