Katniss volunteers to go into the Hunger Games so her 12-year-old sister Prim doesn't have to. Peeta gets reaped to go into the Games but no-one volunteers for him. Katniss, Peeta and 22 other children aged 12 to 18 go into the Hunger Games to fight to the death. Katniss allies with Rue, a 12-year-old girl from District 11, but she is killed soon after the alliance is formed. She was speared in the stomach by Marvel, a 16-year-old boy from District 1, and Katniss sang to her while she died. She then covered her in flowers, sparking a rebellion in the Districts against the Capitol (the people who made the Hunger Games and rule over the districts). After a rule change that meant two tributes from the same district could win, Katniss makes an alliance with a dying Peeta, who had announced before the Games in a live, televised interview that he loved Katniss. After winning some medicine for Peeta, Katniss cures him and they stay in a cave they found until only one tribute remains: Cato from District 2. Katniss and Peeta find Cato at the Cornucopia (the place where the tributes started), and he is attacked by dog-like genetic mutations that look like the fallen tributes. Katniss shoots Cato with a bow and arrow to put him out of his misery. According to the rule change, Katniss and Peeta have won, but it is announced that the rule change has been revoked and only one tribute can win after all. As neither one wants to kill the other, they both threaten to commit suicide by eating poisonous berries called Nightlock. Knowing that they had to have a victor, the rule change is put back in place and Peeta and Katniss win the Hunger Games. However, a rebellion has already started in the districts, and in the later books you find that the Hunger Games was only the start of Katniss' problems.

He warns her that her outsmarting the Gamemakers will have dangerous consequences unless she is able to convince all of Panem that she did it purely out of love and need for Peeta, not out of rebellion. He does not warn Peeta because he knows that Peeta is innocent enough - the nightlock was not his plan - and that Peeta will charm and win over the crowd with his charisma anyway.

That is never really mentioned but I think it is because the people in the Capitol wake up late (Effie mentions a few times that she needs her coffee) so if it started early there would not be a lot of viewers :)

She is very happy until her husband dies in a mining accident. She completely tunes the world out and neglects to take care of herself or her children. Katniss then feels as if she can't trust her anymore, and learns to support her family. Hope this helped (:

In Catching Fire, Peeta does propose to Katniss for the Capitol, and she says yes for the Capitol. Catching Fire leaves off with their wedding plans still underway, but neither of them are happy about it because it is all to ensure their safety.

They are, however, married in the epilogue of 'Mockingjay'.

Of course not its meant to be watched in the movie theater. It just came out do you really think they are going to make a website to watch the hit movie for free.

I watched the hangover 2 online when it was in theaters. Just go to some weird asian site. They usually have them. It's not HD quality but your still seeing the movie for free.

Katniss didn't want to wait for Cato she was stuck on top of the Cornucopia with Peeta, because she was scared to get down while thee mutts or mutant wolves of the dead tributes made by the gamemakers tried to tourcher Cato to death slowly. Would you want to get down in the middle of that mess

He (Seneca Crane) is the head game maker (guy in control of the games, like shooting the fireballs draing the stream ect. he's the one who let Katniss and Peeta live after their little stunt with the nighlock berries

BTW in Catching fire *spoilers* during Katniss's scoring in the traning arena Seneca crane is the name she drew on the dummy she hung

peeta and katniss both go back into the hunger games they are both still playing the star crossed lovers card. katniss surprisingly gets pulled out of the hunger games and peeta is left by himself regretting his deicions.

Peeta back stabbed Katniss to protect her. Peeta wants Katniss to win so that she can go back for Prim and her mother, and also he has loved her since the first day of school. He is trying to protect Katniss, so he joins with the Careers and does all he can to keep them away from her by misleading them. When they find her in the tree, Peeta is not there, so Cato tries to climb the tree to get to her, but breaks a branch in the attempt. Then, Peeta gets there and suggests that they wait until she comes down because, "she can't stay up there forever." That gives her more time, and thankfully, Haymitch sends her some burn cream from her encounter with the fireballs. Mainly, Peeta joined the Careers to make sure of Katniss' safety.

She got killed by Marvel's spear in the bloodbath, after fighting with the boy from 3 for a backpack. She was seen in one of the bloodbath shots, cowering away from Marvel's spear (she has two ponytails on the back of her head).

The Capitol audiences go wild both times Katniss and Peeta enter the Capitol Center Square. The first time they are starttled by their costumes and then see the brilience of them. The second time they go wild because Katniss and Peeta look like what an ideal tribute should be: young, and brave. While the other tributes look pitiful, and worn out, Katniss and Peeta look like they belong their.

Well, she volunteers for her sister, Prim at the first hunger games and she plans to not let the capitol have a winner by giving her and Peeta poisonous berries that kill you instantly, but they are saved and they both become winners, she starts a rebellion with them berries and goes to war with the Capitol.

All Peeta wants to do is help Katniss survive...he only worked with Cato, Chloe , Glimmer and the other boy to throw them off her trail...when they found out, Cato cut Peeta's leg and he camouflaged himself at the river until Katniss found him.

President snow and the capitol. It wad devised because the districts rebelled and they needed a way to make sure they wouldn't again. The hunger games are a way to diminish hope in the districts. Because as president snow said, "hope. It is the only thing stronger than fear."
