- Gale wins. Katniss would never have even met Peeta if it wasn't for the games. The only reason Katniss pretended started to like Peeta is to win the games.
- Gale could better protect her whereas Katniss seems to spend a whole lot of her time trying to save Peeta, he apparently cannot take care of himself or help Katniss stay alive. All he does is endanger her.

It is confirmed that her stylist, Cinna has been killed by Snow and the other stylists and prep teams except for Katniss'.
