Miles is very kind to everyone and calm. Miles is also a little depressed because his wife took their kids with her when she left. she left because miles didn't look like he was ageing so she thought that he "sold his soul to the devil" and that it was witch work. miles is also very talented because he knows how to fish , how to be a blacksmith and carver he can do tons of other jobs to ( hope that helped i came here for the answer not to be the answer but the previous answer was ;;pplplp so i had to do something :)

It means that everything is extremely clean and expensive looking. It appears so immaculate and high class, one would be afraid to touch anything inside of it. There would likely be many glass pieces or other expensive and delicate decorations. Well, that depends on who you're asking. Every person could have a different opinion on your question. I, personally, liked the whole book. But if you asked someone else, they could name a different part of the book. What I consider important in Tuck Everlasting is (Note: these events are from the book. Not from the movie, since the book and movie and VERY different):

-The time where Winnie talks about wanting to run away, runs into the tucks, and they kidnap her, soon tell her their secret (with the man in the yellow suit eavesdropping).

- The man in the yellow suit negotiates with Winne's family that he will bring Winnie back if they give him his woods, cottage, and especially the spring.

-Mae kills the man in the yellow suit. Mae is taken to jail. Winnie is brought back home. Winnie feels like a new person, she is more mature.

-Winnie and the tucks go get Mae, and Winnie trades places with Mae in jail. Winnie is caught soon after, and is taken home. In the end Winnie gives her spring water (The water Jesse gave her for when she turns 17 so she cant drive it to be immortal and marry him) to the toad. The toad is safe forever.

These are just what I think are the most important events. Of course, everyone has their own opinion. There isn't one right answer.

Mae Tuck carries a small, sturdy flask with her at all times. This flask contains a special drink that represents the Tuck family's immortality and serves as a reminder of their unique circumstances. It symbolizes the importance of their secret and the burden of eternal life. Mae's flask is a significant part of her character and the story's themes.

Mae gets broken out of jail... Winnie dies in the end

Sometime between 1776 and 1777. Winnie was born in 1870; she was 10 years old but would be 11 pretty soon when she met Jesse. Jesse was 104 when he met Winnie in the wood. 1880-104 = 1776. Would the year 1776 be symbolic?
