How do you know if urine or semen is coming out?
Urine and semen are very different fluids.
Urine is a a very thin fluid that is somewhere between clear and yellow in color, while semen is a more viscous (thick) fluid that is close to white in color. Urine is released when your bladder gets full, while semen is usually released during an ejaculation (orgasm). When urine is released it typically comes out as a steady stream, while when semen is ejaculated it comes out in rhythmic pumping fashion.

If the penis is erect(during sexual stimulation) the ability to urinate is cut off.
- actually that is not completely true. The ability to urinate while maintaining an erection is pretty common. The sphincter that closes off the bladder doesn't involuntarily contract until the contractions of ejaculation are occurring. Other than ejaculation it can be difficult to urinate if the penis is pointed outward or downward while having an erection, but if the penis is pointed towards the head urination occurs pretty easily. Many men use this tactic when attempting to urinate just after waking up, while they still have erections, by stepping back from the toilet and leaning forward, thus giving their erect penis a more acute angle.
A baby's bladder can only hold around one ounce of fluid at a time. As they grow, their bladder does as well and they can hold more.

Why isn't glucose normally found in urine?
Glucose is not in Urine because the body transforms all the extra glucose into fat and stores in the the body instead of excreting it with urine. Glucose can be seen in urine in uncontrolled diabetes millitus, when the blood glucose level is higher than the kidneys threshold of glucose reabsorbtion, then the extra glucose gets excreted with urine instead of getting reabsorbed by the kidneys.

Yes, many in each kidney. Nephrons are the functional unit of the kidney where filtration of the blood contents occurs and urine is produced - and its degree of concentration is determined. Various hormones and sympathetic stimulants act on the kidney to regulate these processes.
Can you live without a urethra?
Yes, you can live without a urethra, the tube that takes urine from the bladder to the outside of the body. However, doctors must create an artificial way for urine to be able to get out of the bladder. Most often, this means a suprapubic (above the pubic bone) incision to create a "hole" and pathway to the bladder where a catheter is placed (and changed periodically) to remove the urine.
Some children are born with a defective or damaged urethra. Some female babies are born with a layer of tissue over the urethra and vagina which must be surgically altered/removed. Some male babies are born with the urethra exiting from the side of the penis, rather than from the tip of the penis. These conditions usually require multiple surgeries.
What is mild cortical atrophy?
What is the function of the glomerulus and the bowmans capsule?
The glomerulus and bowmans capsule are part of the excretory system, and they are found in the nephron of a kidney. The function of the glomerulus and the bowman's capsule is to filter the substances in the blood. The glomerulus is a tangle of capillaries which have little slits in them. Water, salts, glucose and urea pass through the slits into the bowmans capsule, which leads to kidney tubules. Then, as the kidney tubules are surrounded by capillaries, the useful substances (all glucose, some salts, most water) are re-absorbed, and only urea and some salts carry on to be excreted.

What does elevated protein in urine mean?
It can mean a number of things. One very probable possibility to the blood in the urine is early signs of failing kidneys. Or even some sort of trauma to the kidneys such as a hard hit. The protein in the blood is most likely a separate issue and easily solved, if your diet has more protein than your body uses, it dispenses the excess protein to the bloodstream. Eat less meat.
