To the best of my knowledge, a circulated 1963 the dollar bill should be worth about $15.00 as of 2/2009. A bill that has not yet been circulated may be worth more, maybe up to $25.00.

It could be worth as much as a hundred dollars. However, if the corners are bent it would only be worth ninety. Also, if there is a crease through Franklin's face it would only be worth eighty.

To be serious, there is nothing special about a 1985 100$ bill. Take it to your bank for a new copy or put it under your mattress. It might be worth something in fifty years.

This is a pretty rare bill. As of 07/2010 values are in the range $400 to $750 for a circulated bill. Uncirculated ones can bring $1500 or more.

As of July 2010 no series 2009 or 2010 $2 bills have been printed.

Please check again and post a new question. The US didn't print any $1 bills dated 1953.

In your new post, include what letter if any is right next to the date (e.g. 1957 B) because that can often affect a bill's value.

If the bill's date is before the mid-1920s, it's probably larger than current US paper money. Current-size bills were introduced during that decade.

However, it's not possible to tell if the bill is genuine without having it inspected in person by an expert. Anti-counterfeiting features were fairly primitive back then so it was relatively easy to create fakes.

It's probably worth a couple of dollars in a novelty shop because it's a copy.

$100,000 gold certificates are illegal to own privately. They were only used for transferring large quantities of money within the government, back in the days before electronic funds transfer. None were ever put into circulation.

Only one series of 1976 $2 bills was printed, so none of them would have a series letter. A series letter is always next to (below or to the right) of the date. If the "B" is in the Federal Reserve Seal, it's the indicator letter for the Federal Reserve Bank that distributed the bill.

I have a 1935e circulated silver certificate with a double die error on the back of it what value does it have.

Normally it would be necessary to have its denomination but the only bill fitting that description is a $1 silver certificate. Please see the question "What is the value of a 1935 B US 1 dollar silver certificate?" for detailed information.

The largest denomination note released for circulation was for $10,000. They were printed in small numbers over the period from 1863 to 1945, although the last series all carried a 1934 date.

Other large denominations included $500, $1000, and $5000. These were also discontinued in 1945. Although they've never been formally withdrawn they haven't been available from banks since 1969.

The largest denomination ever printed was a set of 42 thousand $100,000 gold certificates printed in 1934 and 1935; these were only used for transferring money between government departments.

The very first US $2 bill was issued in 1862 with a portrait of Alexander Hamilton. The bill was redesigned in 1869 and Hamilton was replaced with Thomas Jefferson.

Essentially none. The last US $500 bills were printed in 1945 (although they carried the date 1934) and since July 1969 banks have not been permitted to distribute bills larger than $100.

Any that may have been in circulation at the time have almost certainly been removed either by banks that received them in deposits or by people who saved them as collectors' items.

Thousands of different kinds of bills were printed during and immediately after the Revolutionary War. Without more information it's not possible to make an evaluation.

Because many of these bills have been counterfeited over the years you should have it inspected in person by an expert who deals in Colonial and Revolutionary-era US currency.

It is worth as much as 60$ to 120$.
