any thing that improves blood flow to your penis will make the veins prominent . it can be erection, masturbation, sex.... testosterone causes lysis of subcutaneous fats making veins throughout the body prominent.

Usually its because the blood flow to your hands/arms is restricted and they have to put more pressure to get through. This causes the rest of the vein to bulge out, to form more pressure.

It can also happen during when being used heavily in a workout etc. That's because the blood flow must be drastically increased to meet the effort being done by the hands/arms so they veins start to bulge out to accommodate the extra blood flow.

Veins do carry deoxygenated (oxygen-poor) blood into the heart. Superior and inferior vena cava carry the oxygen-poor blood to the heart; blood enters into the right atrium. Contraction of the atria forces the blood into the ventricles. From right atrium to right ventricle is the way for the oxygen-poor blood, from where the ventricular contraction forces it further into the Pulmonary trunk, from which the blood enters the lungs, via the pulmonary arteries. Your next period is due Jan. 16th according to your info. Generally the symptoms of pregnancy are nausea and breast tenderness. Hi Spider Veins are a pain in the you-know-what (I guess wherever they are) and sure make us look older! I would be suspicious of any cream or medicine that claimed to eliminate spider veins, since it would mean you are taking something that's somehow eliminating the veins your blood travels through. That would be scary. Spider veins are easily eliminated completely by laser treatment in your doctor's office. It may even be partially or fully covered by your health insurance. Next time you see your doctor, ask her or him what to do about the spider veins, and they will probably recommend you to a dermatologist or other clinician who will eliminate the spider vein by laser cauterizing (burning) the vein so no more blood flows through it. The empty vein will collapse and over time will not be visible, and this in no way affects your health or your blood flow, so don't be concerned. Good luck!

Heck yes you can! I am a medic in the army and I've done quite a few IV sticks on the veins on the top of the foot. I haven't drawn any blood from the foot but there's enough pressure down there to do so.

The role of the pulmonary circulation is to take blood that is poor in oxygen and load it up with oxygen. It also takes the carbon dioxide content of blood and gets rid of it, that is you exhale it. One role of the systemic cirulation to deliver oxygen rich blood to where it is needed. That is to say that cells need oxygen to do their work, the brain to think and the muscles to contract. They get their oxygen from the systemic circulation. But blood in the systemic circulation got its oxygen from being in the pulmonary circulation.
