There are many Vocaloids out there, but only a few are official. The official ones are Miku Hatsune (Long blue pigtails), Luka Megerine (Long pink hair), Rin Kagamine (short blonde hair), and Len Kagamine (Spiky Blonde hair)

There are also some vocaloids that are more official than others, for example, Kaito (Dark blue hair, likes ice cream. I forgot his last name), Meiko (short brown hair. She might not have a last name.), and Gakupo (Long purple hair, samurai-like. His last name I also forgot.) There are many more, but I could sit here for days naming them, and, I'm sorry, I have a life to attend to. No offense.

On the internet. Use 'Youtube to Mp3' converter and convert any song on youtube you like (i.e. any vocaloid song on youtube) so there you go :)

Well this question has been buzzing around now for quite a while so this is a good one. Kei the person who wrote the manga didn't intend for it to be an anime. Even though many people want it to be. It came out three years ago, so it might just need more time. even if there won't be an official anime people might still make it into a fanime. (A fan made anime)

Actually, it is KIND OF Vocaloid, there's even a trailer. Have you heard Black Rock Shooter by Hatsune Miku? That's what they're going to make an anime of.

Yes, it is illegal, but you can get a program to make your own UTAUloid. You record your voice in Audacity (taping all the japanese pronounciations) although you can use english too, but i dont think it would work as well. Then you use the program. It is almost like the Vocaloid program but not as good. I would recomend to buy the program, since it is pretty awesome

Download it off the internet, (I don't recommend doing this) or you have to buy it in Japan.

Yamaha's Vocaloid Store has an English site where you can purchase and download the Vocaloid 3 Editor and a voice libraries for Mew or VY1V3.

Amazon.com seems to have some products you can buy as well, but if you are looking for a specific Japanese Vocaloid, your options may be limited.

You can download the torrents via thepiratebay.org and other download sites. Sadly most of these torrents are flawed and have shoddy translation and cracks. You can purchase the vocaloids online, each set is about $200 and the availability of the voices vary from country to country. You'll have to search around for the sets.

Also the music is up for download online via youtube, mediafire, rapidshare, etc. Your best bet is youtube, and if a song doesn't have a download link, find a youtube to MP3 converter and you're set.

No. It was a rumour. They are counterpart. But it is up to the user whether they want to make Kaito and Meiko siblings, friends or even lover. It is the same case as the Kagamines.

Rin Kagamine is a female voice persona, roughly corresponding to a 14-year-old, created in 2007 using the Vocaloid 2 speech processor. Her "brother" is Len Kagamine (the surname means "mirror sound").

She is a model in MMD (MikuMikuDance)

If you are referring to when Hatsune Miku was released, then she was released on 08/31/2007. Many people also consider this to be her birthday as well.

The first two Vocaloids were Leon, Lola. Released on the 3rd of March in 2004. These are sometimes known as "Engaloids" cause they're English. The one after that was also English, Miriam, released July 26th 2004. All 3 produced by Zero-G

First Japanese Vocaliod was Meiko, who was released on the 5th of November 2004. Then Kaito was released 2 years later, February 17th 2006.

There is a Vocaloid game for Play Station Portable called Project Diva that features some of Miku's songs.. There is a second one as well, which includes fan-mades and more Vocaloids.

The aim of the game is to hit the notes while the Vocaloid is singing by pressing the circle, square, triangle and X buttons.
