Are Airsoft guns legal in Britain?

Living in the UK you do need license to buy Airsoft replicas that are fully black and must be over 18 to get what they call UKARA license.

You must play three games in the span of two months and have a form of identfication to prove your 18. (Passport or Driving license).

No. You can't buy them now without proof of some need like a reenactment company you must have reason to buy them and they can't send them by post you have to pick them up. Most airsoft guns you buy are either a bright colour or transparent. It is against the law to sell a black airsoft gun or to spray paint an airsoft gun black in the UK.

Not living in the UK but im sure you do to play at most sites but backyard just to be sure get one. If you don't have a lisense then when you go to play you will be given a green painted gun which gives away your position. If you have ever gone hunting and worn that bright orange just imagine that on your gun but green

not if you have a licence which you could probably get from a local site or get the gun painted 'two tone' which is were over 40% of the gun is painted bright blue green or red. hope i helped

You can use an airsoft gun anywhere in the UK. However to own one you have to have a "2 tone" gun. Unless you are a member of an Airsoft club.
