Open the text message you want to delete. Then press the button on the bottom left of the phone. It looks like an incomplete box with two lines inside it, this will open up a new menu. This menu contains six options, pick the delete message option, it will have a trash can above it. Once you have pressed this button, the phone will ask for confirmation. Press okay and you have deleted the message.
