To wire a Sony Xplod CD player (model CDX-GT52W) in a 1989 Honda CRX, you'll typically connect the power wires as follows: the red wire (ignition) to the car's accessory power, the yellow wire (battery) to a constant 12V source, and the black wire (ground) to a solid metal ground point. For the speaker connections, match the speaker wires from the CD player (usually color-coded) with the corresponding wires from the car’s harness. It's always best to consult a wiring diagram specific to your vehicle and the CD player for precise connections.
Here is the website with a diagram http://www.kb.sony.com/selfservice/documentLink.do?externalId=C217600

The simplified directions can be found on Crutchfield's website. If the wiring in your car doesn't connect right you can find harnesses on Amazon.com or at Circut City and you can always take them to a shop to be installed but it'll cost you. You can call Crutchfield for help too at the number on their site. If you wonder why I mention them so much you should know that Xplod speakers are made by Sony and Crutchfield's collaboration.
