explain how slow memory get interfaced with 8085
Memory slot is a place where a memory can introduced to a system. It is an interface to add a memory device. This can be various types. For introduce primary memory we use tha RAM slot. Or for secondary memory interfacing we use different types of interfacing, such as PATA, SATA etc. But for RAM interfacing we require to match FSB (BUS Speed) of the memory device, such as FSB 400 or 667 or 800 etc. External chache is noting but a chache memory that is attached to a computer system to optimise its performance. It is used to boost up the performance of a conventional computers.
the principle function of memory interfacing is to enable the microprocessor to read or write into a register of the memory chip
While executing a program, the microprocessor needs to access memory frequently to read instruction codes and data stored in memory and the interfacing circuit enables that access.
memory interfacing in 8085 microprocessor refers to provide a intermediate mode of transferring or receiving data from registers to main memory
The 8086/8088 is a 16 bit computer running on a 20 bit address bus. Processes use a segmented memory architecture to access one of four 64kb memory segments from a physical space of 1mb.
what do you mean by internal memory ? Read only memory is a thing which acts as a interface between kernal and interfacing hardware... it helps passing orders from the kernal to the hardware and makes it work ! i guess this definitely fitting in the category of the internal memory but it is not used as a storing the user's data for his personal use ..!
The system software is responsible for coordinating the system's functions, such as allocating memory, interfacing user applications with hardware, and managing other input and output devices.
Pin 28 on the 8086/8088 is M/IO-, in minimum mode. The equivalent pin on the 8085 is IO/M-, and has opposite polarity.
This is the memory structure which the memory management layer uses to organise and separate different sets of instructions.
The operating system has a number of function. Some of them are communicating with peripherals, interfacing, coordinating concurrent processing, resource management, accounting and security and memory management.
Memory foam or visco-elastic foam was originally developed by NASA in the mid to late 1960's. However, it was not available to the public until the early 1980's.
