Apple is not signing a contract with Verizon Wireless. However, Verizon Wireless has signed a contract with Google and now carries two Droid phones. Which does all the things the Iphone does plus some! Check them out!!
I would like to know if its possible to turn my verizon contract phone and switch it to a pre-pay??
no. verizon and at&t phones are not compatible. verizon and sprint phones are locked into their respective carriers.
*228 will allow you to upgrade your software, roaming capabilities, and switch phones.
You used to be able to buy a prepaid phone from Walmart and activate it on your Verizon contract. I bought dad a new LG from Walmart not too long ago and when I dialed *228 and option 3 to activate, it said that they werent able to activate the phone because it has to be active on a prepaid account for at least 6 months. I've always bought prepaid phones but now the Verizon system has caught up. I used to work for Verizon Wireless and I didnt have any problems until now.
Absoloutley. But, they will charge you for the remaining months you have left in your contract. EX.. you have 2 months left on your contract and you get a new phone for Christmas. However much your monthly payment is for your phone, they will add all of that up and ask you to pay the total in order to use your new phone.
With some phone providers it can be easy, depends on what type of contract you are in.
There are man cell phones out there with no contract. Those are prepaid phones. T-Mobile prepaid has monthly plans that you can switch when the 30 days of using the service end.
no, a chocolate phone is the best i have one! but it doesn't need a sim card that is a good thing and if you want to change phones you have to go online and check until your next upgrade. at&t doesn't have chocolate phones (cingular) please take my advice i have that phone and i know what is best! go to the Verizon website if you have a question it can help and if you are looking and coparing phones to ee what is the best out thair! www.VerizonWierless .com if you don't have Verizon for a cell phone comany than check out other phones your copany has! And look in the rule book! You can switch companys when your contract expiers if you change while you still have contract for a long time you will have to pay off two contracts at once!
No. The only Verizon Wireless phones that use SIM cards are Global Phones. SIM cards are only used for the GSM technology. Verizon Wireless runs off of the CDMA technology. So... if you switch the SIM card, the phone still won't work because it has nothing to do with the CDMA and that's what Verizon Wireless works off of. HOWEVER, you can activate a Verizon Wireless phone on an existing account by dialing *228 pressing SEND then choosing option 3.
No, AT&T uses GSM, and Verizon uses CDMA. The two technologies are not compatible.
how do i switch my reachoutwireless number to a verizon phone
