To transfer credit from one mobile phone to another, both phones have to be from the same company. When setting up the new phone, tell the operator that there are credits to transfer from an old mobile phone to the new mobile phone. If your handset is unlocked - it's as simple as replacing the Verizon SIM card with one from Tracfone. If it's locked to Verizon, you'll have to get a PAC (port authorization code) from Verizon - which they shouldn't (but may) charge you for. Once you have the PAC - give it to Tracfone, and they'll transfoer your account from Verizon (usually within a day or two).
