Unfortunately, nobody has been able to come up with a method for making water drain uphill. You can, however, purchase a pump that will send the water up to your existing drain.
AnswerI am thinking that the person who asked this question may have beenrefering to the drain line going up hill in a confusing way.If there is a line already going into the basement floor, that line would be your waste line.If this is the case, you can cut a Y into the Waste line.I am not a professional plumber.I will not go into the details of how to do this, because I would not want to misslead. If the Y fitting is cut into the waste line, I am pretty sure it still requires venting the washer above the highest line entering the waste line.It would still require some work, but not having to jack hammer the basement floor.

Waterproofing a basement from the outside is a much more involved process than from the inside and is more expensive. If you want to waterproof your basement from the outside you will need an exterior drainage system installed. You will have to contact a professional and have them come out to give you a free estimate. Exterior drainage systems involved digging out the ground around the perimeter of your home and installing a drainage system, then filling the ground back in. If you are advised to have an interior basement waterproofing system installed, then you should probably do that instead. It will save you money and usually keeps water out for good. Connect the rotor of a DC motor to some sort of fan (like a pinwheel) and instead of connecting a battery to the motor, connect a 2V DC bulb. Then blow. (could try dismantling one of those hand-held, battery poweref fans you get - the motor works both ways).

Depending on your city or county you can install an above floor basement waterproofing system and drain the water to a drain instead of a sump pump. Waterproof.com has an above floor basement waterproofing system that you can install yourself for around $4 per foot. I hope this helps, if not please elaborate
You do not have to connect your router to your PC via ethernet cable, you can instead connect via wi-fi and your router must be connected to your hub.
I'm pretty sure LAN's are a group of computers connected to each other through routers/modems or ethernet cables. The internet it similar to LAN's but instead of connecting to other computers close by, it connects to computers all around the world.
