Yes, all phone service providers are required by the FCC to provide access to a local operator by dialing 0 and to a long distance operator by dialing 00 on all of their phones.
There are also ways to access an international operator on all phone service providers, but the FCC does not regulate this so the number you must dial varies from provider to provider.
There are still (and will always be) certain services that only an operator can provide and automatic telephone exchange equipment cannot (e.g. person to person calls, collect calls, third party billing calls, interrupting a call in progress for an emergency call, testing line status, requesting a ringback to your own line)
What is "antiquated" is the days when the phone had no dial and when you picked it up you were always connected to an operator who asked "Number Please?".
To find out the cost from hitting a telephone pole, the city members would have to be contacted. It is also important that the person pay this bill, or they could get a warrant.
yeah, if you hit it with a car.motorcycle, you know...

Harrison Ford.
Most states have limits on damage. If the total damage exceeds the limit you should report it to police. If there was no damage to the telephone pole, you probably won't have any problems, but you can't always be sure.
It all depends on how you connect with the ball. Curling usually involves concentrating on hitting one side of the ball to make it move in the air; after that it is all practice!
by not hitting them in the first place!
If your phone is a landline telephone it is usually a fault on the pair of wires that connect your home or office to the telephone exchange (or central office) If there is a bad connection somewhere along the line, a crackle may be heard when the wind blows the line or water gets into the connection If you have an old handset with a microphone made with Graphite granules, it may be those that are causing the crackle, hitting the mouthpiece may improve the situation if this is the case. If the crackle only happens when you are on the phone to one particular person, its probably their line that has the fault. When telephone exchanges used Strowger mechanical rather than todays electronic equipment to route calls, crackles were often generated by the telephone exchange as well. Some crackles can be caused by a faulty phone, so to avoid unnecessary expense, try another phone on your line before calling you phone company, who may charge if your equipment it at fault.
If by "hitting" you mean literally hitting, then no. You cannot get pregnant from someone hitting you. If "hitting" is meant as a slang term for sexual intercourse...then via anal penetration, no. Via vaginal penetration, yes, you can get pregnant.
Hitting.
hitting the floor
Yeah, hitting is an action currently happening.
