No, I cannot delete questions once they are asked. My responses are generated in real-time and I don’t have the ability to modify previous interactions. Each session is independent and I do not have memory of past conversations.

no, you cannot delete questions in Answers once they have been submitted.
Users cannot delete questions. If you believe a question is inappropriate mark it with a flag or contact any supervisor and they will deal with the matter
I could delete this question if I chose to... but I like answering questions a lot more than I like deleting them. And if they are useful questions and don't involve illegal things or inappropriate things, then we try to keep them, to help the next people that come to the site to ask the same thing.
you ask a fairy and she will delete it
Simply because WikiAnswers operates under an 'open policy'. This means anyone can ask, answer, modify or delete answers. If they restricted who could answer questions, there would be no point having the site.
Questions on WikiAnswers can not be deleted by regular contributors. Supervisors can trash questions into a catchall category, but only advanced supervisors can permanently delete questions off the site.
You may want to ask this on Yahoo Answers (or better yet stay here and ask and answer questions on WikiAnswers instead of Yahoo Answers :-) I would guess that since you are the one who wrote the answer Yahoo is giving you the ability to edit or delete it, but is not giving you the ability to edit or delete other people's answers.
Anybody can edit most questions on WikiAnswers. Supervisors can delete questions, but we generally do not.
You press delete racer and it will ask you if you really want to delete it
Unfortunately, 'ordinary' users don't have authority to delete questions. You could always edit the existing question to read what you intended to ask (but your intended question may already exist).
