Yes. You can even use them at the same time. internet Explorer is not removable through ordinary means, so Mozilla Firefox has to be able to work on the same system if it is to be used on Windows.

It's easy ! I hvae both browsers on my Windows 7 laptop. It will quite happily open Chrome (my default browser) and IE browser at the same time.

No you cannot set multiple browsers as the default one. There can only be one default browser on one machine.
