Yes. PAYGO phones charge minutes for all calls except to 911 (in the USA) and to customer service. You have to dial an access number to use the prepaid phone card, and that will eat up minutes.

Yes, this person is right, that's why they called pay as you as go phones means recharge your balance account and talk to every minute.

Yes. One can move a SIM card from an AT&T phone that is on contract into one of AT&T's pre-paid GoPhones and it will typically work automatically. The same should be true for T-Mobile.

I use a calling card that is re loadable. They dont have any hidden fees. I always use them because they ca recharge my credit card when the money gets low. They never have any contracts, just the flat rate per minute. I love them. My brother in the military also shares the same service account with me. Try them they are great! http://www.globalcallingsolutions.com I hope this is good for you. I wish you the best.

What is a prepaid cash card?

A pre-paid cash card is similar to a debit card. The difference is - a debit card is linked to a bank account, whereas a prepaid cash card is not. In order to use a prepaid card, you have to 'load' it with money. You hand the card and your cash to a retailer - and they process the payment so it's transferred electronically onto the card. You can only use the card so long as you have sufficient credit. When you run low - simply 'top-up' the card again.
