Not true...I have a Verizon Motorola Droid phone and it most assuredly has a SIM card. So the above is incorrect.

The SIM card in phones is based off the company that produces their cell phones. There are two companies in the United states that are contract phones and they have sim cards they are AT&T and T-mobile. Sprint and Verzion do not have SIM cards.

all android PHONES have an entry for SIM cards. not all ANDROID devices have SIM card entries though, eg. tablets, Samsung Galaxy Camera etc.
