1- check the Tri indicator. Altitude reading

2- Open a bleeder valve upper most radiator and check to make sure you have flow

3- Mathematically

Take the height of the upper most radiator and measure it from the top of the boiler

Figuring your home is 40 feet height your static pressure would be about 17 PSI

40 ft X .434 = 17 PSI

To prove, take 17 PSI times 2.31 = 40 FT

Plumbing /hydronics is actually a science with simple math

How can I determine if my hot water heater is full?

To determine if your hot water heater is full, you can check the water level gauge on the side of the tank. If the gauge indicates that the tank is full, then your hot water heater is full. You can also listen for a gurgling sound when the tank is filling up, which indicates that it is reaching capacity.

Should water be running through your pipes all the time?

Some hot water systems are designed to give you instant hot water. This is achieved by using a small pump to constantly circulate hot water through the pipes in your home. If you have an instant hot water system and you want to check to see if this is the source of the running water, find the hot water circulating pump (probably in the vicinity and downstream of the hot water heater) and turn it off. If you still hear water circulating, you should check further as you may have a leak in the cold water system. Hope that helps.

Why is the hot water pressure low in my system?

How does an instant hot water recirculating system work to provide hot water quickly and efficiently in a home?

An instant hot water recirculating system works by circulating hot water from the water heater to the faucets in a home through a dedicated return line. This system uses a pump to continuously move hot water through the pipes, ensuring that hot water is readily available at the tap when needed. By keeping hot water circulating, the system reduces the wait time for hot water and minimizes water wastage, providing quick and efficient access to hot water throughout the home.

Why wont heat get hot on 2000 Chevy venture?

If you are referring to the heater system, you will need to check the coolant level in the van. Make sure it is absolutely full, at the radiator cap, when the engine is cool. Also check that the overflow tank is at least half full at all times, as that will help to keep the system full. Good Luck, Greg
