How do you get one million views on Youtube?

We have set a goal of a large number of views on our YouTube channel. However, in spite of uploading interesting content, we haven’t been able to reach even 75% of our goal. If anyone knows of any strategies to get more views, it would be a great help. Here’s what we’ve tried so far in terms of content. We have uploaded videos on timely and relevant topics so that people would come across our videos on YouTube.

Make a funny or interesting video. Get your friends to tell people about it, so they'll watch it and tell more people. email your buddies from Myspace or Facebook or whatever you use about your video. The more publicity and comments you get, the easier it will to get a ton of views.

its not gonna be easy. for 1 thing, you have to be either a really amazing singer, or an extremely funny person. your videos have to have good quality also. and to get more views, you should make a LOT of videos and at the end of each one say "please subscribe and thumbs up". and if you don't want to wait that long (which that would probably take about 3-5 years) you could always pay someone to advertise your videos. that might make it go by faster (by the way, that is what FRED did, and he has his own TV series now;) ) and i really hope this helped(: if it didn't, I'm sorry but i don't even have one video yet, so i really don't know what works yet. what is your You-tube account named? i can help you get a couple of more viewers :)
