If it has a metal body you attach a suitable cable to match the ground or earth wire colour in your country ( such as a 6 mm squared cross sectional area ) copper cable with green-yellow ( in the U.K.) insulation colours to the metallic frame of the dishwasher with a cable lug and a brass ( preferably ) nut & bolt. Then using a suitable length of cable to the nearest grounded piece of metalwork such as a copper pipe using a "earth clip" for a copper pipe. These can be bought from electrical wholesalers who supply all electricians or / and electrical contractors.
There is no ground wire in automobiles, they have tires that insulate the vehicle from the ground. There are only positive and negative wires.
An outlet can be properly grounded with only 2 wires by using a Ground Fault Circuit Interrupter (GFCI) outlet. The GFCI outlet can provide ground fault protection even without a separate grounding wire.
There should be no reason to install two ground wires in the same conduit. Code requires that only a single path should be required if it is to carry a fault current. black wire is hot wire .And the white is the common or white is ground. Depends on what your talking about in an outlet or car battery. In a outlet the ground wire is green or bare copper. neutral is red and hot is black (I remember it by hot can kill you so black is death) if I am not mistaken. As for a car battery i think it's the opposite red is hot and black is neutral.
The only way to ground your system if you're using plastic boxes is to continue the chain by connecting your ground wires together--just as you would with the hot and nuetral wires--through the entire circuit all the way back to the whole house gound in the circuit breaker panel.

The main electric panel is where neutral is bonded to ground. There is usually a screw or strap that connects the two so the same type panel could be used as a subpanel and have the neutral and ground unbonded in subpanel.

US NEC: The only place two circuits can share the same neutral (common) and ground wires is at the distribution panel, and that is only because those two conductors are tied together at the distribution panel.
