How do you increase your download speed?

For general internet browsing download speed is directly related to the speed of your connection. Want faster speed, then switch to DSL or Cable.

For downloading large files, try using download accelerator plus. It is very good and speeds it up a lot and you can pause and resume downloads and even if there is a power cut or the computer crash's when you turn it back on you can just resume where you left of and it is free and good for large file downloads like games and stuff.

To increase download speed, I suggest pressing CTRL+ALT+Delete to bring up the processes window when up switch to the processes tab. Now shut down all unnecessary processes at 5,000 or plus CPU power. Be mindful of this, some applications you shut down will take away something. Such as the Taskbar process will take off the Start bar, and taskbar. that should overall improve you computer devotion to downloading the torrent. Also shut down any possible scans, resident shield virus protection, Ad Watch 2008 if you have it. If all of that fails, the likelihood of the torrent just being a slow one is very probable.

Connections:make ur port to 45682 and ur check should be all on exept the randomize port every start and proxy server none bandwith:15,0,0,220,2750,14 (this is the order going down)and check nothing exept use additional upload slot bittorrent:check everything exept limit local peer bandwith,write nothing down in the textbox and outgoing enabled and check the last check box queing:60,63,ratio 100 and ignore and check nothing but check the limit to upload rate and write down in the text box 4 and when u finnish uncheck the upload rate limit checkbox thats all and this is FOR 1.8 and i have some thing downloading 3.67 Gb and its done 80.0 in one day cause its downloading speed is 100-200 Kb but u have to be patient first like watch tv while waitng or sumthing but dont check it always and before u know it ur downloads will be super fast believe me
