first you need a layout code. you can make one yourself(which take a lonnnggg time) or take a code from another myspace layout. usually in the beginning of the code says the link where the picture is located.background-image: url(PICTURE CODE IN HERE!!!); upload your picture onto Photobucket and a few links will come up. Make sure you choose the one that starts with http:// ...... copy the code and place it in the (http://s707.photobucket.com/albums/ww78/shaydimplets/).

In order to get a 'blank' MySpace... You need to make a div overlay layout.

You can add friends, search on myspace for your friends and add them. Also you can add a myspace layout to make your page have a cool design: go to http://www.profilerehab.com and get a really good layout and then follow the instructions for adding it to your myspace page.
Find a layout site like www.profilerehab.com and find the layout you like. Then get the layout code on the layout details page. Then paste the code into the About me section for 1.0 profiles. Go to http://profilerehab.com/browse/myspace/simple_plain_layouts to see a bunch of plain layouts for myspace. There are instructions on the pages for how to put the layout into your profile.
You can go here and grab a default layout: http://profilerehab.com/browse/myspace/default_layouts Then just look in the code and find the name of the background image and replace it with your own background image that you want to use for the default layout.
You can get a code and enter it in your about me section. the code can be found on any layout website.

There is a great myspace background generator at http://www.backgroundstation.com that creates a full page background image of your choice (through search or uploading your own) and there are many designed themes to choose from. It's a great, simple way to make your own myspace layout!
