First off, simply having Photoshop will not allow you to superimpose yourself in any image. You can, but that does not mean it will look real. You will need to match the lighting and angle of the light when you are taking your family picture so that it matches the lighting of the Hawaii picture. You will also need to match the angle of your picture to the Hawaii pic if the ground or any buildings are in the background, or it will look unnatural. You will need to mask out or remove all the additional space around your family so that you can layer your family over the Hawaii pic. You will also need to learn about color correction, so that you can match the overall amount of Reds, Greens, and Blues in your family pic so that it has the same overall brightness, saturation, and hue/tint as the Hawaii pic. Then you need to make sure that the overall sharpness of your family pic matches that of the Hawaii pic. In addition to that, the picture needs to have a shadow at the feet of your family that goes in the same direction as the Hawaii pic, if you do not have a shadow, however light, it will make it look like your family is floating, and if it goes in a different direction from all the other shadows it will look unnatural (this is another reason why proper lighting when taking the picture is important).

If you are new to using photoshop, you can find free tutorials on the Adobe website ranging from beginner to advanced.
