You can easily save a PDF document in Google Chrome, whether it’s opened in the browser or a webpage you want to keep as a PDF. If the PDF is already opened in Chrome Open the PDF in Chrome (it will load in the built-in viewer). Move your mouse to the top-right corner of the PDF viewer. Click the Download icon (down arrow) → this saves the PDF to your default download folder. (Optional) Click the Print icon → choose Save as PDF if you want to save a copy with different settings. If you want to save a webpage as a PDF Open the webpage in Chrome. Press Ctrl + P (Windows) or Command + P (Mac). In the Destination dropdown, select Save as PDF. Adjust layout, pages, and margins if needed. Click Save → choose where you want to store the file.
There is no save button. The document gets automatically saved.
Yes, you can save files in the .TXT format.
When you do a save, the changes are applied to the document you originally opened. When you do a 'save as', you have to choose a name and a location where a copy of the document will be saved; this copy will have changes you are currently making to the document. You can then exit the document without saving, and your original document is unchanged. The copy that you 'save as' is still intact, with changes. You can also do a 'save as' without making any changes, just to have another copy of the document existing with a new name and/or location.
