No. You can't convert a Windows Movie Maker file to an mp4 in the program. First you have to Publish/Finish your video (which exports audio/video to Standard viewing format of wmv). Once that is complete, download and install a free video converter from the internet. Use that program to convert the wmv file to an mp4 format.
MPEG4 does not work with movie maker (or windows for that matter) I'm not sure what's the best though sorry... try MPEG2, just a guess don't get mad if its bad
