Yes, you can unlock a Motorola Razr V3XX phone to switch SIM cards, but the process depends on the carrier and whether the phone is locked to a specific network. Typically, you'll need to obtain an unlock code from your carrier, which may require fulfilling certain conditions, such as completing your contract. Once you have the unlock code, you can enter it into the phone after inserting a new SIM card to unlock it for use with different networks.

In most cases when you attach any electronic device to your computer using a USB cable, it IS so that it can charge. In many other cases you will be able to do more with this connection, such as transfer files (video, pics, audio), edit contact lists (as with cell phones), and/or access online applications. What you can, and can't, do will be described in the manual of your device. If a USB cable has been included with this device it is safe to say you are on the right track. If you can't find the manual, or never had one, go to Google (link is attached) and type in the brand name, model # and kind of device, and Manual. (For example. . ."Motorola Razor, V3xx, Cell Phone Manual"). You will be provided a list of links to your manual.
Eureka!!! I could not MPT to recognize my RAZR V3xx no matter what I tried :( On a whim I decided to change the USB cable (after uninstalling MPT and drivers). When I used the new cable, Vista saw the new device for the first time and installed the drivers. To be sure I reinstalled the latest 32 bit driver from Motodev (http://developer.motorola.com/docstools/USB_Drivers) from the page (Handset_USB_Driver_32_v3.7.0.msi) after signing up. I then reinstalled MPT and it saw the phone. It just may have been the USB cable but I am up and running on vista (I do so miss XP)
Dial the phone number or answer the phone and once the phone says connected press speaker phone and then close the phone and it will still be on speaker phone. The most important thing is waiting till it's connected. Once you hear the other person's voice then you can close it and talk them with it closed.
