to unlock a blackberry curve 8300, firstly you have to insert a simcard to your phone ( type of simcard must compatible with its phone,exp: att phone go with att simcard)

secondly, you go to application, then go to option, then go to advance option.

type in the box: MEPD, then press OK

type MEP, then [ALT button], then press [2].

finally, all you have to do is enter your unlock code......
