You need to figure out how to remove the drain plug. Some are connected to the plunger that operates from under the sink or inside the tube. Some tube drain plugs have a set screw on the side that allows you to remove the plug. You may get help from a store clerk at Home Depot or Lowes as to how to remove the drain plug. Use a light weight coat hanger and straighten it out but make a small bend at the end. Run this down your drain and pull out any junk. Good Luck.
