Plumbing like most professions are taking a severe hit in skilled craftsmanship because society rather then trying to increase skills decided to make people feel good about themselves thus they simplified the installation of piping systems that allow the use of carcinogenic materials.

Because of this lack of skilled the mentality today is install fast /cheap and much less quality and less protection to protecting the health of building occupants.

Because of model codes we are now faced with sick building syndrome, molds and other factors that are taking its toll on the health of the nations
