The acceptable valuables for a domain name are. Alphanumeric with letters that are on the English alphabet, no stressed symbols. E.G www.googlé.com is not allowed. And they must be English letters, so you couldn't have. ввв.гоогле.ком Would not be allowed as that is written in the Russian alphabet. No punctuation either. So no www.google!.com I believe the limit is 3-63 characters per any domain name.
