Any phone with moving parts, be it of a flip, slider or rotating design, and with electrical circuits passing through those parts will eventually wear out. That being said, I have never had a phone with moving parts endure as much use and abuse, including exposure to young children, as the Samsung Juke. I think that the phone is more likely to fail from the normal perils of electronics, dust and water, before failing from opening and closing. Note that this review applies only to the US CDMA Verizon Juke, which is a totally different phone with superior build quality to the GSM overseas version.

You deleted songs off of your samsung juke- but the phone still thinks the memory is full even though all of the songs were deleted how do i let the phone know the memory is available?
You didn't install the drivers before using the juke- install the drivers and then go to tools and security and click reset phone- this will delete all memory including contacts and afterwards you will have to update your phone by calling *228. Then songs may be deleted and added simply by going to my computer. see how do i delete a song from samsung juke.
Which phone is better The Samsung Juke or The Samsung Glyde?
We'll, I just got the Samsung Glyde today (3/20/09) for my early birthday present which is on the 21st of March.. of 09. Anyway, I really love it! It's not a sensitive phone at all. I love the touch screen so much and the Qwerty keyboard is so rockin. I would prefer the Glyde rather than the Juke. The Juke is small to txt on and my friend just lost her Juke and she said she is so glad it's gone because it's lame, and it so hard to txt with. If your a super big txter, definetly get the Glyde. But if you just want something to call with... Juke. Verizon has great costumer serivce and they will tell you in their honset opinion which phone is better. In my opinion, go with the Glyde. I've only had it a couple hours and I've already figured it out.. Best of Luck!
