While we are celebrating our ten millionth question this season, WikiAnswers values every question as unique...and counts them as such. As of this writing, there are over eleven and a half million questions. We count them almost minute by minute for they are important to us and the three million members of the site are striving to give timely answers to every question. So...ten million is only for today. Here's to twenty million!

No, eHow is not a direct competition for WikiAnswers. eHow is different than WikiAnswers, because the questions are answered in great detail, and require many, many steps, and the only questions that work are ones that need steps to complete. WikiAnswers is open to any questions there are (that aren't against the rules).
