Yes Plumbing is dangerous. Various things can go wrong. Firstly, many people do not realise how dangerous a geyser is. A geyser has been known to blown roofs completely off houses due to incorrect installation. So if an unsuspecting plumber goes into a roof to carry out some work or maintaince, and the geyser blows up. The plumber will either be severely injured or can die. Another reason plumbing is dangerous is because in some copper installations, soldering joints is a common practice, but in order to solder two copper joints together a flammable gas gun is used, it has sometimes been the case when plumbers have failed to close the valve properly cause gas to leak and when he either reignites the gas gun or strikes a match for a smoke the gas collected in the room explodes, once again causing severe injury or death. There are so many things a plumber has to face and keep aware of. The list goes on and on. Plumbing is not just about connecting pipes and changing washers in taps. Its dangerous and must be conducted in a well thought and controlled manner. Hope this helps. Take care. This was my answer. just signed up.
