Depends on your intelligence, first year is primarily non-Plumbing related, but more "general trade" related and includes Grade 10-11 Mathematics, Science, Safety and basic tools.
2nd/3rd/4th year course focus more deeply on the plumbing trade and include topics such as Hydronic Heating, Plumbing Code, Basic Electrical, and Gas. All of which, while somewhat complicated and indepth, are easily understandable by anyone who is willing make the effort to learn.

One of the best is BCIT, the British Columbia Institute of Technology. Check out the carpentry program at this link. http://www.bcit.ca/study/programs/3200appr
Is there a TV show that talks about home plumbing repair? On cable or satellite?
NOTHING as it is part of the apprenticeship training program
not really hard physically - but just imagine all the sewage and stuff you have to deal with
It depends on the Program or Course. Are you planning on taking a single course, a diploma program or a degree program and do you want to take it Full-time or part-time? Course - 1 week - 10 weeks Diploma Program - Full-time: 2 years & Part-time: up to 5 years Degree Program - Full-time: 3 - 5 years & Part-time: 3 - 7 years
