I doubt you need to update the BIOS. Having an outdated BIOS would cause the whole system to be unstable and buggy, not just affect one game in particular. If you had given your whole system specs, I might have been able to help you. Other than that, it may be because your graphics card is not powerful enough, you need to update your graphics cards's drivers or you have installed the game wrong.
