All your boyfriend is trying to do is tell/show how much he loves and care for you, which i don't think is a bad thing. I can agree it might be annoying if he does it all the time, but i think you guys need to talk & work this thing out. I don't think its an issue so big that you have to break up..... unless if there is something else about him that you don't like.
