I was having the same problem, try changing your routers wireless channel. To do this you will need to get your default gateway so you can log on to your router. Go to command prompt on your computer and type in ipconfig it should come up with some numbers, find the one that says default gateway (123.456.7.8) and type it in your browser of choice. It should ask for a Username and Password, usually default is username: admin password: password. Once logged on go to wireless settings and just change your channel. I did this because of interference with my wireless channel. This worked for me and maybe it will work for you.
How do I fix the situation where I am connected to the wireless network but can't browse? Please email suggestions to jutson2@gmail.com thx
for any wireless network work you need the following two things working in conjunction with eachother:1: a wireless signal (from your own wireless router, or one you "steal" from a neighbor)2: a wireless receiver (built-in, usb adapter, etc)so yes you can use the usb to get on the net, but only with a signal, probably from your own wireless router.
can you get an wireless adapter
Go to the Linksys web site.. They alwyas have the drivers for hardware. Goodluck
Sorry...I wasn't quite sure what you meant by that. Please try rephrasing the question.
Please follow these instructions: Please right click on the real tek RTL 8192 CU wireless LAN and choose Uninstall. ***Do not delete it*** Once it is uninstalled please click on the the very first item in the device manager and click on the magnifying glass to scan for hardware changes. The driver will re-install for the adapter. Once it is done installing please try to connect to the wireless. If you have any questions please do not hesitate to ask.
If you are trying to connect to it via wireless Windows allows you to store the password on the computer for the wireless network so you only have to put the password in once per computer. If you are setting up multiple computers you can save the password in a notepad document and place that on a USB key. If you want to take a password off of the wireless network you can connect to the wireless router (please see user documentation for the router) and disable wireless encryption. This however is strongly discouraged because anyone can access an unencrypted wireless network.
check whether you have assign IP address for the wireless network manually or not. if you are given IP manually it won't detect any of available networks and you will not able to connect to wifi networks. just go to network and sharing center ( you can right click on network icon in the taskbar and open network sharing center then select your wireless network, then select properties > go to TCP IP V4 and V6 setting and give select obtain IP address automatically. then it will detect the new wifi network and if the wifi network are secured you will ask for the password to connect to it. by giving the password of the wifi network you can connect to your wireless network. in all laptops you will find a wifi button please be aware to switch on your wifi button before you connect. Q: By default is the emulated NIC installed and then you need to upgrade to a synthetic NIC? >>> After you create a VM in Hyper-V, the default network adapter is a synthetic network adapter, however, you can't use the synthetic network adapter until you install Integration Services in this VM. If you want to perform a network-based installation( PXE boot) of the guest operating system or when integration services are not installed in the guest operating system, please use a legacy network adapter instead of the synthetic network adapter. Q: How can you tell if you are using an emulated NIC or a synthetic NIC? >>> You can check this in the VM's settings or you can open device manager inside the VM. The Legacy Network Adapter is an emulated adapter (Intel 21140 PCI)

You would use a network cable to connect a computer to a network. The type of cable and its electrical, possibly optical, and mechanical attributes depend on the network's pysical layer.Networks use a variety of fiber optic cables, coaxial cables, single twisted-pairs, double and quadruple twisted-pair cables. Other forms exist, including those not requireing a dedicated cable (such as some devices designed for networking over power line), or not requireing a cable at all (such as devices designed for networking over radio frequency connections).
Well, if you know the password windows should remember it so it can be logged in to the network at all times. If it is no longer accessible please check your wireless settings or contact your network admin. He/She may have turned off the internet connection or changed the password. Also you may have bad internet connection your self.
