It would be unusual for refunds to be confirmed by email. Chances are, a refund confirmation email is part of some kind of scam. We have a refund for you, but first we need you to pay us some kind of administrative fee, or tax, or whatever. Or, we are going to give you even more money than we owe you but you will have to mail us the difference (but then our check will bounce, ha ha!).

The payee on a refund refers to the individual or entity designated to receive the refunded amount. Typically, this is the person or organization that made the original payment or transaction. In cases where a payment was made by a third party, the refund may be issued to that third party instead. Ensuring the correct payee is specified helps prevent any issues with receiving the refund.
ATTENTION: If you do not receive the email, Create a Gmail account and use that for your Battle.net email... Tuesday I tried switching my GF and her sister over to battle.net accounts, but Yahoo email wouldn't receive the Confirmation email (tried multiple times).... Wednesday I made a couple Gmail accounts for them, and went thru the process again, Confirmation emails showed up immediately...on one of them, i got the "Verification failed" message, but simply REverified, and it went through. Even if you ONLY use Gmail for this one purpose, that's fine. (log into it once in a while so it doesn't go inactive) Good luck, everyone.
